Solid Timber Flooring

Solid timber through the full depth of the board
Can be fixed to concrete, joists or battens
Available in various widths, lengths, grades and thicknesses
Can be coated on site with a variety of finishes
Can be sanded and refinished many times
Slightly more affected by variations in atmospheric conditions

Laminate & Engineered Flooring

Laminate flooring is heavy duty vinyl with a printed photographic layer
on the top which conveys the impression of real timber
Engineered flooring is composed of several layers of composite wood
with a real layer of solid timber on the top
Either can be laid as a floating floor, unfixed, or stuck down to a subfloor
Various widths, lengths, grades and thicknesses are available
